Engraving

We offer engraving services for our Shaker Cremain Boxes.   If you can find the type style that you like on your computer, we can, likely, engrave in that style.   By default, we will use the Harrington font family.   Some dark woods, such as walnut tops, will not engrave well.   The laser burns the wood to produce the engraving and the burnt wood is similar in color to walnut woods.   Most milk painted Shaker bentware products or light colored box tops are dramatically enhanced by laser engraving.

Simple two dimensional graphic designs can also be engraved.   If you have a graphic that you wish to try, send it to us and we will let you know whether we can engrave your graphic designs.   Remember, most graphic designs are protected by law from unauthorized reproduction.

Costs are $1.50 per word and $3.00 per date, while graphic designs are priced individually.   Engraved items are considered commissioned pieces and are not available through our online store; so instead drop us a line or phone call.   It also takes us an addition week's time to engrave our cremation boxes.
